Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is a software application that accepts an admixture of voice telephone input and touch-tone keypad selection and provides appropriate responses in the form of voice, fax, callback, e-mail and perhaps other media. IVR is usually part of a larger application that includes database access.

(IVR) system picks up phone calls for you, asks questions for you, and answers those questions for you. It’s your virtual receptionist, secretary, operator, and customer service representative. If you need to automate a business approach over the phone, an IVR system is the answer.

An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) saves time, reserving your best call reps for the toughest questions.

An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) never marks time, acknowledging calls 24 hours a day every day of the year.

An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) saves money, automating your repetitive business approaches.

Large and small businesses have adopted IVR technology because it saves money that would otherwise be spent on living, breathing (expensive) employees. An IVR system’s effectiveness is rated by the percentage of callers who ask to speak to a live operator. The lower the percentage, the more successful the system. Of course there are some IVR systems that never give you the option of speaking to a live operator. But even among IVR fans, that’s considered bad practice.

How does it work?

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) requires a computer and special hardware called a telephony board or telephony card in order to accept calls. Callers are guided through the menu options and asked to choose from among them. Simple IVR software accepts only keypad input and works by decoding the keypad tones and directing calls accordingly. More advanced IVR systems use voice recognition technology to allow users to speak their responses. Many IVR systems use text-to-speech technology to generate custom responses to callers for data such as flight times or account balances.

A complete system may work as follows: -

Whenever a miner goes to work, he would punch attendance, which IVR will record and start calling him periodically.

When a miner comes out, he will log his departure and IVR will no longer make the outbound calls to him.

When a miner is unable to respond in the first call, IVR will call him within 2 minutes and would repeat for 2/3 times. After that, IVR will raise an alarm.

When IVR raises an alarm, it can check with other miners to get information about the miner who is not responding.

IS THE IVR SYSTEM SECURE?

The IVR system is secure and confidential. Each time you call the IVR system you will need to enter your 9-digit ID number and your 4-digit PIN. Remember to keep both of these numbers private. A temporary PIN will be mailed to you. The first time you use IVR the system will ask you to change your temporary PIN to a new number. Do not share your new PIN with anyone.

How does IVR Tech Group’s IVR can help you?

IVR Technology Group’s interactive voice response and speech recognition platform can be integrated with your data sources and the web to deliver feature-rich but simple to use IVR solutions – driving efficiency, improving business productivity, and enhancing caller satisfaction.
What is Voice Broadcasting/Voice Blast?

Voice broadcasting is a mass communication technique, begun in the 1990’s, that broadcasts telephone messages to hundreds or thousands of call recipients at once. This technology has both commercial and community applications. Voice broadcasting users can contact targets (whether they be members, subscribers, constituents, employees, or customers) almost immediately.

How does it work?

Voice broadcasting phone software manages a database of phone lists as well as digitized phone messages. Using analog, digital or VOIP telephony components, these computers can simultaneously broadcasting thousands of phone messages. Personalized information can be included in the phone messages through the integration of text to voice software.

Voice broadcasting and voice blast allows you to instantly send interactive phone calls with ease while managing the entire process right from the Web. Instantly send alerts, notifications, reminders, political calls, get out the vote – GOTV – messages, interactive polls or surveys with ease right from the Web. Your free Voice Shot account guides you through the process of recording and storing your messages, managing your call lists, scheduling delivery as well as viewing and downloading real-time call and caller key press results.

How does IVR Tech Group’s Voice Broadcasting/Blast software can help you?

Voice Broadcasting (Voice Blast) from IVR Technology Group enables your company to automatically send interactive phone calls and SMS messages. You can opt to do it yourself using our robust web-based portal or have our staff take care of the details for you.

Deliver targeted messages. IVR Technology Group’s Voice Broadcasting system can automatically detect whether an answering machine picked up or a live person and can be configured to deliver different messages based on that information.

Robust call reports. In real-time, look at reports of calling activity. How many live answers did you get? How many people transfer to an agent? What were the various responses from those called?

Schedule call delivery days in advance. You can set delivery dates and times, run campaigns over multiple days, or at different times during the same day.

Powerful call list management. IVR Technology Group’s Voice Broadcasting system allows you to upload call data files from a host of applications such as Excel or Access as well as industry-standard formats such as CSV.

Record calls. Whether you choose to record all calls, some types of calls, or random calls, it is very simple to turn on and configure call recording.

Intelligent Re-dialing. If the outbound system reaches a busy number or a no answer, it automatically queues the call for a second or third attempt. Unanswered calls are re-dialed free of charge.

Automated interactive opt-out mechanism. Voice Broadcasting comes with tools that provide you with an option to include an opt-out message in your broadcasts, helping you to comply with the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule.

API integration with your applications allows you to make outbound calls based on trigger events in your software. Once programmed, calls can be queued and delivered without any human intervention.

Collections calls, over due payment reminders… work! Not only do automated calls work, they work well. One of my clients called today to thank me! With only a few days left in the year they wanted me know that by using our automated calling platform for collection calls, reminder calls, etc. They significantly increased their cash flow by decreasing late payments and bad debt by over 35%. Wow!! The person, who wishes to remain anonymous also told me she is getting a bonus this year .

I just had to post this. When you think of these results as either a small or large company, the benefits are significant.

Convert, Convert, Convert!

For a small fee per number and a few cents a call…. let me show you how our Call Tracking Numbers will help! I will show you how to convert visitors to your web site. Convert emails, landing pages, billboards, direct mailings, anything you promote, to Phone CALL! Calls result in increased sales.

If you are marketing, or more importantly providing marketing for your clients, you should concentrate on increasing the number of people who call after viewing your efforts.

With today’s increased efforts, new media, blogs, social media, new website landing pages, mailings, etc you must set up a test to determine which variation achieve the greater conversion rate.

I don’t think anyone can argue that phone inquiries are more likely to convert into sales than other forms. Call Tracking Numbers measure the number of phone calls generated by each marketing effort!

Please call me and let me demonstrate how to use Call Tracking Numbers for a measured increase in phone calls… 1-800-438-1709 x 201 (I am tracking my calls).

Why Pay for Conferencing Services when there all kinds of Free Services? I was asked that exact question today as my customer canceled their Audio Conference service with us.

So what has me writing content about this subject? Well, there’s still a place for paid Conference Call Services and I don’t see them going away for some time.

I will admit, that even as a company that has their own conferencing services, we still use services such as FreeConferenceCall.com… and we do so frequently.

We have all heard the ole saying “you get what you pay for”. That alone will keep customers using our advanced conference services. Customers that demand quality, advanced features and control over their audio conferences.

Just take a look at the features we offer. If you can find these features for free, please let me know.

www.IVRTECHGROUP.com Conference Calling For Your Business!

You’ll never start a conference call late again. To create a conference call, you simply select a time and attendees. At the scheduled time of the call, your contacts will receive a phone call connecting them to the conference. As the moderator, you’ll see a live dashboard with details about each attendee.

You can keep your conference secure by optionally prompting callers for a PIN, viewing exactly who is on the call through the moderator dashboard, and optionally muting select attendees. For a professional sounding solution, use IVR Tech Group’s conference calling service for your business.

Key Features of Conference Calling
Beyond standard features of professional conference calling, you can:

* Schedule outbound calls to start the conference
* Automate email reminders to attendees before each call
* Use the moderator dashboard to mute, call, and monitor attendees

I am 100% convinced that “click to call”, “call me now”, has a more effective and beneficial use. A new marketing message, a new sales approach?.

Businesses, Web Sites, Call Centers, Support Teams… anyone taking customer support call should move to Click to Call.

Remove your toll-free number’s from your web sites. Use click to call… here is why:

1. Reduce your Telecom costs. Just think… what is cheaper, Toll free or DID. Only use DID. Oh, not to mention you need less telephone lines.
2. Reduce wait hold times.
3. Customer Satisfaction… connect the best trained service agent to the correct issue.
4. With all this you still get all the Marketing benefits of Click to Call.
5. NO calls after hours, no voice-mail after hours. Simply on the click to call screen present if it’s after hours “office is closed”. “If this of an urgent nature, call toll-free 1-800- and leave a message, we will return your call next business day”.

Yes, this is a service we provide. However this content shows a better use of the technology.

Let me know your ideas or thoughts. I would love to get some feedback from Call Centers, Agents and Companies with inbound customer service needs. Probably, not need to mention, but click to call is focused on web-based contact.
