Should you care what Mike Byrne has to say?
I am not an accomplished writer, an elected official and I am sure as heck not on the Mensa membership list. Also, I am not a professional athlete and do not have celebrity status as often dreamed about while skating, shooting pucks and hitting tennis balls as a kid.
I’m well aware it’s 100% your choice if you read my content or not. My hope is you will read it and will gain even the tiniest of benefits, interest or passion from it. I plan to write about things I have personal and professional experience with. Items I can speak to that I have experienced both success and failure with.
The shameless plug is that I certainly hope this Blog opens more opportunity and interest in my company and our services. However, more importantly, I hope it creates new ideas, new ways of doing things, new product ideas, and new opportunity on a larger scale for just me, or for my company.
So who is Michael S Byrne? (in no order of importance)
- Canadian and proud of it. I have been living in the US since 1987. Proud to be living and working in this great Country!
- The son of John and Elizabeth Byrne. My “Dad” passed away too young, and I miss him. My “Mom” I owe so much too and love dearly. Yes, I am a Mamma’s boy.
- My only sibling, Brenda and her family live in Canada. Love them dearly!
- Most admired person… my Grandmother (Sorry #99)
- An incredible family. Tracey my Wife, since 1990. She’s the heart, soul and foundation of the family. Madelyn (1999) and Sean (2003), my gifted and special children.
- I am blessed in many ways.
- A product of growing up in Toronto Canada, close to the big city with plenty to do, great friends and a solid family.
- A Masters Degree, several Executive MBA classes and a highly ranked Academic undergraduate school, compares little to the school of life’s lessons and the trials and errors of Entrepreneurship.
- A self-taught businessman. Without any doubt, I can say, lessons learned by failing far surpass those learned by success.
- I am an Entrepreneur and have been since my paper route and tennis racquet stringing business.
- Awesome business partners. Yes, you can mix business and friendship.
- Friends, who are among the most important things in my life. You know who you are.
- A man who wishes for more time, more sleep and more? I am working to figure out what that last “more” is.
I intend to write about my experiences as an Entrepreneur, as President, as a person with new ideas, services and opportunity in the fastest changing industry of Communications. IVR/Interactive Voice Response, VoIP, Text Messaging and Mobile Marketing, are just a few of the topics. In concept I hope to create new ideas, help vet new solutions, and share just a bit of the passion and enthusiasm I have about my work and entrepreneurship. I hope this Content brings this to others, far beyond and individual benefit and satisfaction I derive from it.
